Kristen Stewart’s Ponytail Hairstyle at The 2010 MTV Movie Awards

Kristen Stewart‘s pretty ponytail hairstyle was age-appropriate and thoroughly fabulous at last night’s MTV Movie Awards. Here’s the scoop on how you can recreate the look at home.

The inspiration was a sleek and edgy high ponytail with added movement.

How Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel got the look:
Adir applied Fekkai Full Blown Volume™ Styling Whip from the roots to the ends to create volume. He then dried the hair using his hands. With a one-inch curling iron, he curled the top sections of the hair in various directions to add movement. For added texture, Adir applied Fekkai Beach Waves to loosen the curls. He then pulled the hair into a high ponytail and secured with a piece of hair from the underneath by wrapping it around the base of the ponytail; this creates a beautiful, clean hold. To finish the look, Adir added Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Hairspray for all night hold.

Swingy, pretty, low-key. Did you love this look as much as I did? Tell me in the comments.

Am I missing something? It doesn’t look pretty, it looks like my hair looks when I put it back in the mornings without brushing it. Maybe it looks pretty from the back, but it’s a mess in the front!!
