Julia’s July Beauty Favorites

Don’t get the wrong idea, I’ll probably use these in August too.

  • Essie Butler Please: I was about to, once again, get my nails done in fishnet stockings when I noticed the woman next to me had picked out this awesome blue. I am not one for blues or greens but I loved it so much I waited for her to finish. I think she was a little freaked out about how excited I was. After the manicure I went out and bought a bottle.

  • Another polish pick is Essie’s Boom Boom Room –a bright, super girly pink that I actually wore to The Standard last week. What can I say, I like to live out Essie story lines. Next one on the list: Wrapped In Rubbies

  • Better Than Sex: Francesca Eastwood (love her) is the face of the new Pretty Rebel Collection from Too Faced. The brilliantly named mascara gives you dream worth lashes. I’m not sure if its better than sex, but it will probably get you better sex.

  • If your hair is nothing else, it should be soft and smell good. This Oribe dry conditioner has become my new favorite hair product. I spray it whenever I need a pick me up but don’t want to use dry shampoo and have product build-up. Spray away because this super light formula just makes your hair silky soft and  yummy. I use it at least twice a day.

  • I am back with the beauty blender. To be honest I forgot about this wonderful little egg tool but our recent encounter on the Birchbox website (I was buying $16 hand wipes. No regrets) brought back so many great memories. I ordered another and we have been together ever since.
