Natalie Dormer’s beauty situation ALONE made me second-guess my decision to give up on Game Of Thrones a few episodes in (I know. I KNOW.). Her makeup is game of TONES and her hair is straight-up stunning. Here, the makeup and hair beauty breakdowns.

MAKEUP
Makeup Artist Jake Bailey’s inspiration? “The focus of Natalie’s look was most definitely her eyes. She has such gorgeous blue almond shaped eyes and I really wanted to showcase them.” Here, all the products he used to create this look for Natalie.

“When I’m doing this much eye makeup, I begin with the eyes so that any eyeshadow that falls on the face during application can be cleaned up afterward, before applying foundation or blush. I began by lining her top lashline with Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliner in Perversion and blended it softly with my fingertip. I then applied a warm shimmery brown shade, Lancome Color Design Shadow in Pose all over her lids and into the crease. I lined her lower lashline with Urban Decay’s 24/7 liner in Smog and blended it with my finger tip to soften. I then applied a pair of mink lashes from Velour called “Those Real” and coated them with Urban Decay Mascara in Perversion.

Once the eyes were finished, I buffed a small amount of Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Creamy Vanilla over her skin using a soft flat tipped kabuki brush. I warmed her cheeks using a combo of equal parts Le Blush Creme de Chanel blush in Affinite and NARS Luminizer in Copacabana. I mixed the two on the back of my hand to create a custom glowy blush. I then dusted her face with a touch of Covergirl Clean Pressed Powder in Ivory. Once powdered I used NARS Contour Blush in Olympia to accentuate her cheekbones by blending a small amount into the hollows of her cheeks. I finished the look by lining her lips with Urban Decay 24/7 lip liner in Naked and topped it with L’Oreal Color Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Pink Perseverance.”

HAIR

Suave Professionals Celebrity Stylist Marcus Francis created Natalie’s undulating waves for the red carpet.  “Natalie had to shave the side of her head for her role in Mockingjay Part 1 and 2, and we have been embracing the look at recent red carpet events. Yet for the Emmy’s, I thought to have soft polished waves to keep the look feeling young, with a nod to Jerry Hall and 70s.” Here’s how to get the look.

On towel dried hair, spray Suave Professionals Volumizing Root Boost Spray from roots to ends, followed with Suave Professionals Natural Infusion Strengthening Light Leave-In Cream with Awapuhi Ginger applied on mid shaft through ends.

Blow dry with a large vented round brush and make a clean center part.

Using a 3/4 inch curling iron, wrap small sections of hair from roots to ends. Wrap the hair going back and away from the face on either side, and alternate directions on the back.

Spray Suave Professionals Touchable Finish Light Hold Hairspray on the entire head, and then let the curls set for 10 minutes before brushing out.

Once brushed out, tilt your head to one side and spray Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion Weightless Dry Shampoo to give a little fluff to the hair for added movement. Do the same for the other side and the back.
