The Fiber Mascara That Changed Converted Official Mascara Correspondent Ashleigh

mascara2.jpgFull disclosure: I’m usually scared of fiber mascaras.  Being a contact wearer, I avoid anything that can easily fall into my eyeball (call me crazy.) But I usually give Lorac’s mascara the thumbs-up, so I got over my prejudice to try this one.  With the same large tear-drop shaped brush as their Lengthening+Thickening Mascara, I know this is gonna be a major lash moment.

One coat in, I notice the formula is a little bit dry.  I can see the fibers on the brush, but don’t see them cling to my lash.  My lashes really just looks softly defined, nothing crazy.  The second coat grips better and I see good clumping happening.  However, I see I mostly use the tip of the brush for application+control.  My lashes were a little brittle by cocktail time and I didn’t want to aggravate the fibers so I didn’t add another coat.
The formula needed eye makeup remover to wipe completely away.  While I liked the outcome, I didn’t think the fibers really pushed it over the edge.  Buy this one if you’re on the fiber train, otherwise you can stick to their PRO Lengthening+Thickening.
