2015 Golden Globes Makeup: Naomi Watts

I love a red lip and goldenrod dress combo at an awards show, and Naomi Watts rocked the look perfectly. Her beauty concept ranks in my top 5 of the evening at the Golden Globes 2015. Here, makeup artist Mary Wiles shares the details on how to recreate the look yourself.

“For Naomi’s makeup look, Mary chose to complement the bright chartreuse Gucci dress with emphasis on a feminine bright lip, gorgeous glowing skin and a subtly defined eye and brow for definition,” Mary said.

STEP 1: Mary prepped skin with L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial Oil ($24.99) to ensure a well-moisturized complexion

STEP 2: Then she used Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 3 ($62.00) as a base to create a flawless face

STEP 3: She then dusted on L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Powder in Porcelain ($16.99) to set the foundation, paying closing attention to the nose and t-zone

STEP 4: Mary used L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blur Blush in Soft Peach ($12.99) on the apples of the cheek to add flushed color and a subtle glow.

STEP 5: Next, she curled lashes and applied L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24 HR Eye Shadow in Gilded Envy ($7.99), blending from the lid into the socket of the eye.

STEP 6: Mary applied L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow Crayon in Enduring Rose ($7.99) on the inner eye lid to make eyes pop and then blended L’Oréal Paris Infallible Smokissisme in Taupe Smoke ($9.99) close to the lash line.

STEP 7: She used L’Oréal Paris Infallible The Super Slim by Infallible Black ($8.95) through the top lashes to add depth to the eyes and L’Oréal Paris Voluminous False Fiber Lashes Mascara in Deepest Black ($8.95) on both the top and bottom lashes.

STEP 8: For the lips, Mary applied L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro Lip Colour in Red Infallible ($12.99) and used Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro ($34.00) to fill out brows for a polished finish.”
