SheerCover Makeup is all about clean natural skin and this mascara promotes that motto. The formula is thin and the firm-yet-fluffy bristles apply a very sheer but full initial coat. I like that the product doesn’t dry super-quick; you have a bit of wiggle room to brush through your lashes and primp them in the direction you like without it drying and getting clumpy.
However, when it fully dries, the second coat needs to be applied with more care. If gets a bit clumpy at the tips, so it’s best to concentrate your 2nd layer at the roots. You’ll get a nice fluffy and fully lash, just not extremely long and luxurious. My afternoon coat on went on nicely as the formula almost seemed to melt down to it’s first-coat look by midday.
An added plus is that It removes nicely with soap and water after a long day. While this mascara didn’t blow me away, I’d be happy to get this as a gift!
