While Necklacegate 2011 rages on (why the superfluous jewelry, Amy?), I ADORED Amy Adams in The Fighter (Masshole is my favorite movie genre). She was just SO good, as was Christian Bale, who readily deserved his Oscar. I was bummed Amy didn’t win one as well, though Melissa Leo was excellent in her role. Even if she didn’t have a speech prepared. Melissa? I have an Oscar acceptance speech at the ready. And I’m not even an ACTRESS. Anyway, I’m totes off track. Amy’s beautiful makeup look was “old Hollywood disco,” says makeup artist Molly Stern who noted the nominee left the room “radiating!”
