I’m a ride or die matte lip gal, so it takes a lot for a gloss to get in my good graces. Here are some of the glosses that have impressed me recently.

1. Too Face Bunny Kisses Lip Gloss
I love a lighter nude gloss for when I’m trying to make a lip look a bit more cool-toned. I wear this over brown lip liner or over a deeper nude matte lipstick for a glossy finish.
2. Bare Minerals Gen Nude Gloss in ‘Werk’ ($19)
Not only is it a great rosy, mauvy nude, this gloss leaves my lips feeling so amazingly moisturized even after I wipe it off.
3. Revlon Super Lustrous The Gloss in #308 ‘Plum Appeal’ ($8.99)
The doe-foot applicator on this gloss is my favorite gloss applicator ever. It’s large and thick, for quick, easy coverage. Plus, the color is a rich plum that’s perfect for all skin tones.
Some other shades of this gloss I love are #270 ‘Indulge In It’ and #265 ‘Black Cherry.’
4. Profusion Sparkling Lip Topper in ‘Fantasy Topper’ ($5)
This gloss is a sparkly topper that comes in a set with a lip liner and matching matte lip cream. I love wearing Fantasy Topper both as a topper over the lip cream or on its own as a gloss.
5. MAC Grand Illusion Glossy Liquid Lipcolour in #315 ‘Autumn Russet’ ($22)
This was the gloss that made me believe in sparkly lips. It has a sheer coral base and holographic sparkles. I especially love pairing this with a burnt orange lipstick and brown liner.
