Golden Globes 2012 Hairstyle & Makeup: Kate Winslet’s Makeup & Hairstyle

And the beauty breakdowns keep on coming! Here’s how to get Kate Winslet’s hairstyle and makeup look at last night’s Golden Globe Awards, courtesy of Fekkai‘s Renato Campora and Avon Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey, respectively.

HAIR
Renato Campora’s inspiration? A look that creates a beautiful silhouette from both the front and back.

Renato began by creating a side part and applying Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip to wet hair. He then blow dried the hair straight. Using a one- inch curling iron, Renato created small tight waves through the hair. Lastly, he secured Kate’s hair back with bobby pins and wrapped her hair into a low bun using an elastic to secure. He finished the look by spraying her hair with Fekkai COIFF Sheer Hold Hairspray.

MAKEUP
“Kate Winslet’s look was shimmering, soft and sophisticated,” said Jillian Dempsey. She used taupe and champagne shades on Kate’s eyes and lots of rich mascara for extra definition. A pop of rose blush on her cheeks gave Kate a youthful, natural-looking flush. Jillian topped it off with a creamy rose lip color for a fresh finish.
