Mani of the Week: Valentine’s Day Nail Art

*We’re committed to transparency. Products marked with an asterisk were given to us to try by the brand. As always, all thoughts expressed on Rouge18 are our honest opinions.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner! Whether you’re celebrating alone or with that special someone, nothing spices up the holiday like nail art. This week’s mani was inspired by classic Valentine’s Day colors: pink and red.

What You’ll Need

1. Base coat (I used Holo Taco Peely Base)

2. Nails.INC “Chiltern Street” Nail Polish*

3. Moyra “Plate 99 – Fabric Texture 2” Stamping Plate

4. TwinkledT “Glow Up” and “Lit” Stamping Polishes

5. Moyou London Smudge Resistant Premium Top Coat

6. Blush Lacquers Matterial Girl Matte Top Coat

I used nail stamping to achieve this look. For detailed explanations and video tutorials of nail stamping check out our In-Depth Guide to Nail Stamping.

How To

Step 1: Apply base coat to all nails (I used Holo Taco Peely Base, but you can use a base coat of your choice).

Step 2: Apply 2 coats of Nails.INC “Chiltern Street” Nail Polish* to all nails.

Step 3: Stamp the solid diamonds design from the Moyra “Plate 99 – Fabric Texture 2” Stamping Plate using TwinkledT “Lit” Stamping Polish on all nails.

Step 4: Stamp the diamonds line design from the Moyra “Plate 99 – Fabric Texture 2” Stamping Plate using TwinkledT “Glow Up” Stamping Polish on all nails.

Step 5: Apply Blush Lacquers Matterial Girl Matte Top Coat to all nails to achieve a matte effect.
