Fictitious Fragrance Fan: Slimer

Dial Body Wash Amazing B

Lotion-infused body wash is my slow jam of late (to quote the great Bryce Gruber) and Dial’s new Vitamin Boost Amazing B iteration boasts a bright kiwi scent, luxurious lather, hydrating properties AND an unexpected Ecto Cooler hue. Its fruity scent is brisk enough to wake me up in the morning (as is its technicolor tone) but not cloying or too clingy. I.e., it won’t compete with your fragrance.

Slimer

Speaking of, its Fictitious Fragrance Fan? “Ghostbusters”‘ Slimer, obviously. The Non-terminal Repeating Phantasm (that’s his classification, yo) loves  things that echo his ecto hue. He loves a good snack, so he’d appreciate the “gourmand” aspect of the wash’s scent and he would be endlessly delighted by the fact that it looks like one is being slimed when one uses it. He’d tell Dial Vitamin Boost to stop copying him and then fly around sliming Peter Venkman. Right? Parenthetically, remember everything in the ’80s was all about slime? Another FFF for this wash is Alanis (yup, that Alanis) of “You Can’t Do That On Television” fame.

Get your proton packs ready: Dial Vitamin Boost Amazing B Body Wash is available at drugstores this month for $5 for a 16-ounce bottle. Who you gonna call?

In R18 feature Fictitious Fragrance Fans, I assign a pop-culture character a signature scent. Fragrance is one of the most difficult areas of beauty to discuss and I find myself trying to convey a scent to you, more often than not, by the pop culture character it embodies to me. So why not make it a thing?
