Sundance Highlights And A Steffner Hat Giveaway!

Myself, L’Oreal’s Danielle Weingarten and Jeannine Morris

Jeannine from Beauty Sweet Spot and I had a fantastic time in Park City, Utah at the Sundance Film Festival courtesy of L’Oreal Paris. Check out the highlights and scroll all the down to find out how you can win one of five Steffner Australia Lech hats valued at $138 each!

  • Seeing Adrian Grenier and Penn Badgely in the SLC airport! Adrian humbly posed for pics and signed autographs for adoring fans.

  • A trip to the Entertainment Weekly suite which serves as a chill spot for stars to grab a bite from the delicious Chic Events-catered space or even get hair and makeup touch-ups from the on-site L’Oreal hair and makeup artists. My gals Tiffany Hall-Scarmana and Brandy Gomez Duplessis were on-site at the suite to do makeup touch-ups. Brandy did me up with a gorge HIP cream liner lined eye and a pink pout for the L’Oreal Paris Women of Vision Awards held at the suite, at which director Amy Wendel was honored for her film Benavides Born. We also hung out with L’Oreal’s Academy campaign participant and Miami native Andrea Gomez, who officially has the best hair I’ve ever seen. I asked her approximately 476 questions about it. We also got word that stars like spicy James Franco and Elizabeth Banks had been at the suite prior to our arrival.

  • Movies! You can’t go to Sundance without taking in a flick or two. We saw the disturbing, but well done Ticket to Paradise and the HILARIOUS Cedar Rapids starring Ed Helms and John C. Reilly, which is bound to be next year’s The Hangover

  • Dinner at Spruce, the beautiful restaurant at the Park City Waldorf Astoria (who knew it was a chain?)

In the house, I use space heaters. The bathroom is a good place for those! Outside, I wear oven-mitt sized mittens and always, always, a hat.

I layer of course, wear my knee high sock that I adore, wear scarves, try to wear a hood or hat outdoors and when I’m inside I have a lap blanket and three little heaters…I mean Dachshunds that snug up to me.

Love this hat! Thank you for the chance.

I look like crap! I workout every day by going for a 3 mile hilly walk with my hubby and …. I look like crap! I have my black bulky jacket on and it has this huge hood which I put up. It keeps falling down all over my face and I look so awful. This would make me look cute-love this hat!

I stay warm in cold climes by layering, keeping my head covered with a cute hat and stuffing those little hand warmer packet thingys in my mittens and in the toes of my snowboots.I also wear a scarf I can tuck around my face to keep it from… freezing and sunglasses to keep the wind out of eyes. (if it is daytime) I also use a lot of moisturizer (tinted instead of foundation if i am going somewhere) and lip balm. When is is REALLY cold and i know I have to be outside for a while I use those heat up packs for sore backs and muscles and put one on my middle back to keep my core warm too. I know – it sounds dorky but it really works, you don’t see them under your coat and they make a huge difference. If if is really cold (-30 windchill) I just stay in.

I have been wearing Spanx under my pants to stay warm! Plus I put hot water in a travel coffee mug and sometimes I…*eyes looking both ways* tuck the mug into my shirt. Warm cleavage, yay!

I stay warm by staying inside in my seventy degree home. If I must venture out, I dress in layers and top it all off with a North Face coat.

I am a person that hates cold. So when I have to go out I bundle up in turtle necks, sweaters, gloves, hats and scarves.

I layer, of course! Whether it’s layers of clothes or layers of blankets, a couple of well-placed layers make all the difference!

I live in MN, too. But my solution for staying warm is simple: alcohol. (I realize that is counterproductive!)

I have a wonderful handmade quilt that is as warm as it is beautiful. When I go out I wear fleece lined boots, a pretty sweater and I have a cup of hot cocoa with me to keep me warm on the inside too.

We used to live in Vermont, and to tell you the truth the best investment we ever made was a dual heat electric blanket. You could pre-heat the bed and adjust your side. We still have it, but not much use in Texas.

I stay warm by staying indoors as much as possible. When it’s not possible I always wear a warm hat when outdoors.

I stay warm by bundling up on my mile long walk to the office. First is the warm bubble jacket, then hat, gloves and scarf.

I love layers and leggings and high boots lined with fleece to keep me warm. Since I chopped my hair off hats are my new best friend. This one looks like it would be very nice to keep away the northeast cold.

I wear a base layer of some sort (silk, cuddle duds, smartwool or patagonia…), wool socks, then a puffer coat and hat/gloves once outside.

I put on my size 4M military surplus bunny boots.. I can ice fish for hours even at twenty below with these babies! And since they weigh about five pounds each I stay warmer with the extra effort it takes to walk..

I stay warm with my puffer jacket — that coat can handle even the coldest of temps! I also wear Kate Spade’s Taxicab mittens. The purpose of those is two-fold in New York!
