Met Ball 2013 Makeup: Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams‘ sparkly stunning makeup look came courtesy of makeup artist Angela Levin, who frequently works on the starlet’s gorgeous grill. Says Levin, “I was mainly inspired by Michelle’s undone sexy hair. We wanted a Punk version of Michelle Williams, but pretty!” Here, the beauty breakdown, per Levin.

SKINCARE
“I started the look with CHANEL Lotion Douceur Gentle Hydrating Toner, followed by CHANEL Hydra Beauty Gel Yeux (Available June 2013) under and around her eyes. Then applied CHANEL Hydra Beauty Creme on the face neck and chest area.
FOUNDATION
Using a brush I applied a light layer of Young Blood Primer mixed with Young Blood Liquid Mineral Foundation.
BLUSH
I used my fingers to apply CHANEL Le Blush Creme in Inspiration (Available July 2013). It was the perfect color for Michelle. I am in love with this new cream blush!!
EYESHADOW
CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Trace
is like a sparkly burnt sienna that I used all over the eyelid, and on the lower lash line, I smudged the shade to create a smoky, imperfect line.  I then added CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Black Star as a thick upper line, blending it with CHANEL Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Taupe Grisé and blending all with small eye shadow brushes.

EYELINER
I lined the inside of her eyes, both upper and lower eyelids, with CHANEL Precision Eye Definer in Brun Intense.

MASCARA
Edward Bess Black Mascara

LIPS
T
he look was pulled together with the application of CHANEL Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Colour in Avant-Garde.

To finish it all up I sprayed her face with CHANEL Hydra Beauty Essence Mist (Available June 2013) to keep it all fresh and light!”
