Emma Stone‘s impossibly bright lip may be my favorite beauty look of the MET Ball 2011. As the late, great Estee Lauder once said, blondes tend to fade at night, and thus need a little more COLOR. Emma nailed that last evening.
Celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin used Chanel beaute cosmetics to create the look. Read on to find out how to get the look.
Her inspiration: “Emma’s Met Ball make up was inspired by the graphic black and white floral print of her dress. The lack of color prompted me to bring elements of a colorful spring garden into the makeup look opting for bold, feminine color on her lips, eyes and cheeks for a fresh youthful statement.”
Get The Look:
“On her skin, I used CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 in Beige Rosé- Pastel. This lightweight, luminous formula allowed me to perfectly even out her skin while still letting her gorgeous freckles to show. I’m obsessed with her freckles!
On her eyes, I used a wash of pale pink shimmer from CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Lilium on the entire lid; then I boosted her lash line with two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir after placing Ardel individual lashes to the end of her eyes only. I finished by lining her inner eyelid with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Clair for a subtle contrast.”
Products used:
CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 in Beige Rosé- Pastel, $45.00
CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Lilium, $57.00

Rumours have it that her lovely lipstick is NARS, not Chanel… I’ve heard Carthage but maybe Schiap.
love that she went for the hot pink lip again! it looks so gorgeous on her. any idea what shade it is?
Its so annoying how there is no mention on the lipstick used. It’s the highlight of the look!!!
