The gel formula of this mascara works really well with it’s small tapered natural bristled brush. Because the product itself is so creamy, there was a lot of play time during application of the first coat. I was able to “deposit” the pigment and work it through my lashes for density at the roots and soft tapered tips.

It dried a bit firm, so the second coat was really best for pigment intensity; I couldn’t build any more volume or length. While coat two was a bit of a let-down, by midday, my natural oils softened the firmness of my lashes. The pigment adhered well and gave some nice after-work drama.

I can’t say that I noticed any additional long-wearing capabilities because of the waterproof-ness, but It washed off easily at the end of the day (which I love.) I’d def buy this baby.–Ashleigh Ciucci
