Credit: Mr. Newton

Moi, that’s who! I’m beyond honored (beyonored) to be featured as TODAY’S Maybelline NYC365 gal. Maybelline New York has unveiled a new website, one aspect of which is the the site’s NYC365 section, which has an editorial feel, with new content updated daily. My photo above (also on NYC 365) was snapped by Mr. Newton for Maybelline in the Meatpacking District. To celebrate my it girl status (if only for a day), I’m giving away a bundle of the following to one lucky winner (U.S. only). The deets:

· Color Sensational Lipcolor in Red Revival Officially one of my go-to reds.

· The Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara The BBJ Official Mascara Correspondent fave.

· Fit Me Blush in Medium Mauve Brushes on, blends easily to warm up any skin tone.

· Eye Studio Color Plush Silk Eyeshadow in Sapphire Siren or “Studes,” as Maybelline’s Julia M and I call it. This metallic quartet’s finely milled texture belies its drugstore pricetag.

· Express Finish 50 Second Nail Color in Grape Times Maybelline polish–I could write a SONNET about it. This hot purple hue is perfect for a progressive purple pedicure when mixed with lighter and darker shades applied to the other toes.

· Shine Sensational Lip Gloss in Watermelon Punch A summer-perfect hydrating pout prettifier.

Want to win? Here’s how.

To enter the contest, you must do one of the following four things:
1. Leave a comment below telling me your favorite pop culture moment and why.

2. “Like” Beauty Blogging Junkie on Facebook and write “Hey Glamber, maybe I’m born with it–but maybe it’s Maybelline.” on the wall.

I’d be so excited to be photographed by Mr. Newton (LOVE his pics!). Congrats, Miss It Girl!

Fave pop culture moment: Andy Warhol stating that everyone “will have their 15 minutes of fame.”

Congratulations! That outfit is both chic and very cute.

My favorite pop moment has to be a Bjork music video I saw ten years ago that featured her threading pearls through her skin. It forever changed my perception of aesthetics, beauty and body modifications. It revolutionized my thinking.

Congrats on being a Maybelline “It” girl. You look awesome! My favorite moment in pop culture was also in the 80s with rainbow tee shirts, keds, neon socks, black rubber bracelets, and cutting your hair shorter on one side. Fun times back then!

Saw the NYC365 page – too cute! Pulp Fiction – Uma, Samuel L., Travolta, Dick Dale and Miserlou. We were just talking about the music and the movie a couple of days ago!

My favorite pop culture moment was when John Mayer’s “No Such Thing” video premiered. I pretty much fell in love with that man.

(And, in subsequent years, he tested that love by acting like a toolbox).

My favorite one is Lady Gaga’s performance of Born This Way at the Grammy’s. It was an exciting performance, and she delivered her message with her unique vision and aplomb.

hi Amber, My favorite pop culture moment would have to be the first time I saw No Doubt’s video for Don’t Speak way back when. Gwen’s red lips, funky fashion and deep voice was the perfect expression of my teenage angst and the kind of woman that I wanted to be. She was confident and unapologetic about her femininity. Plus, the song rocks!

Congrats on your It Girl status today.

    Amanda
