The makeup odds ever in her favor, Jennifer Lawrence looked gorgeous at ‘The Hunger Games: The Exhibition’ Opening celebration in Times Square this week. Linda Hay for Dior Beauty did the makeup honors. Says Linda, “Jennifer’s look today was fresh and dewy to compliment her summery white dress.” Here, the beauty breakdown, courtesy of Linda.
“The focus was on her glowing skin, which I prepped using Dior’s Capture Totale Oil Serum, then applied Diorskin BB Cream and finally a very light dusting of Diorskin Nude Air Loose Powder with a large powder brush, only to the T zone. I contoured below the cheek bone with Diorskin Nude Air Tan Powder, also applying it to the edges of the forehead and the bottom of the jaw line. I then applied Diorblush in “My Rose” just to the apple of her cheeks using a small round blush brush.
Using Dior’s new 5 Couleurs Designer eyeshadow in Taupe Design, I first brushed the eyelids with the golden color, then applied the slightly darker taupe to the outside corner, crease and underneath the eye. The highlight shade I added to the area beneath the brow bone and the inside corner of the eye. The real drama with this look rested with the lashes though – already dramatic against the light eyeshadow, I then applied 3 or 4 layers of black Diorshow Iconic mascara on the top and bottom lashes for extra dimension.
To complete this look we kept the lips simple for a polished day time finish, painting them with Rouge Dior Baume in shade #640.”
