Golden Globes 2014 Hairstyle: Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain

Jessica Chastain was NOT messing around last night. The starlet called upon iconic hairstylist Oribe to man her mane last night at the Golden Globes.  “Jessica wanted her hair off of her face and wavy,” Oribe explained.  The hairstyle complemented her Givenchy gown, and beautiful, vintage Bvlgari necklace.  Below, Oribe reveals how he created the classic, show-stopping style for the actress. Here’s how Oribe created Jessica’s beautiful hairstyle.

Start by blowing out the hair with Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse for texture and movement, and then add Thick Dry Finishing Spray for fullness.

Once hair is smooth, use Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray and curl sections of hair with a 2-inch curling iron, for waves that are soft yet will last throughout the night.

Use Dry Texturizing Spray at the roots, and slightly tease hair at the crown and around the face to create a nice shape, and to keep hair back off the face.

Set with Impermèable Anti-Humidity Spray for flexible hold and humidity protection.

What do you think of Jessica Chastain’s hair look last night?

One of my least favorite hairstyles of the night actually. She looked like she got caught in a wind tunnel. Really unfortunate though since her makeup is flawless.
