Backstage at Tibi, hairstylist Kevin Ryan and Frank Rizzieri for Aveda used forceps to strategically deconstruct and rearrange stray strands from the updos so that they don’t look too perfect. “It’s not brain surgery, but we share some of the same equipment,” Kevin quipped. Here, he shows me how it’s done.
