Beauty Breakdown: Kate Winslet At The "Carnage" Premiere

Renato Campora used Fekkai products to create a sexy ponytail for Kate Winslet at her Carnage premiere at the 68th Annual Venice International Film Festival. The inspiration? An easy to wear, sexy and chic style. Renato was inspired to create this look after seeing Kate’s dress, the high ponytail helped to create a long silhouette for her overall look. Read on…

Get the look: Renato began by applying Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray Gel to the wet hair, to build a strong foundation. He then blow dried the hair in large sections to add volume. Once the hair was completely dry he let the hair cool for 10 minutes. Renato then applied Fekkai Salon Technician Highlight Care Illuminating Cream throughout her hair to revive her highlights. Separating the top section of the hair, he brushed the bottom portion in a side to side motion up to the center of the head, securing the hair with a rubber band. Using his hands, Renato then brushed the top section, blending the hair into the ponytail. To create the final look, Renato used Fekkai Sheer Hold Hair Spray to hold the up-do.

Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting and Texturizing Spray ($24), Fekkai Salon Technician Care Illuminating Cream ($25) and Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray ($24) are all available at Fekkai.com and Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.
