Elemis Teams Up With Alice Temperley

In ’86, Aerosmith and Run DMC collaborated on a remake of the former’s 1975 jam called “Walk This Way.” And it’s truly an example of two greats coming together to create something flipping FIERCE. In the case of Run and Aerosmith, it was two musical giants–one rock, one rap–to synergistically infuse new life into each’s respective vibe. And now, two British titans–Elemis in the beauty world and Alice Temperley in the fashion realm–are doing the same. They’ve joined to create a gorgeous travel collection featuring Elemis’ best selling anti-aging products for face and body. I love the very “me Tarzana!”-style bag, studded details and blingy zipper. Let’s peek and see what’s inside, shall we? Walk this way…

The Alice Temperley designed carry-on is packed with creams and cleansers to make your skin look gorgeous and glowing–something you’ll appreciate on the road and off. Nordstrom launched its own kit, with four larger sized products—Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser, Pro-Collagen Lifting Treatment Neck and Bust, and the Pro-Intense Eye and Lip Contour Cream—but the exact same, more affordable case with mini versions will be available starting in August. AND this one comes with a Elemis Exotic Frangipani Monoi body oil. After my trip to Tahiti, I’ve been slathering myself up in THAT special sauce like there’s no tomorrow. Elemis’ iteration smells lovely and does everything from calming mosquito bites to kicking up your hair mask’s hydration levels by 87% (I measured) when you add a smidge to it in-shower. There’s also a charitable element to the collaboration – it was created to support the profit-free organization Mothers4Children which gives money to children’s charities throughout the world.

Alice Temperley for Elemis Safari Traveler, $160, available exclusively at Nordstrom now and in August, $145 at Time To Spa.
