Fictionary: Deca-digits

Fictionary is a column showcasing beauty-related words that don’t exist, but should.

 Nostrovia, dahlinks!

Pour yourself a celebratory glass of vodka (perhaps a Linds?) because this Fashion Week is all about tantalizing talons and standard-issue manis need not apply. This season brings the emergence of deca-digits (decadent digits, DUH) as
an accessory, not just a beauty treatment. To find out more about this nail concept and how to recreate it, read on…

Celebrity nail technician Pattie Yankee and the Dashing Diva nail team worked backstage and created caviaresque nails for models at the Cushnie et Ochs show. Per the designers’ (Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs) request, Pattie created a textured caviar nail look using seed beads straight from the designers’ collection.

You could recreate this look at home covering your painted nails with nail glue and then dipping your nails into small seed beads from an arts and crafts store. What do you think of this textured nail effect? Yay or nay?
