What’s On Eileen Dautruche’s Vanity?

The What’s On Your Vanity Series showcases a single beauty item a blogger loves because it’s effective, but also she feels she must keep out on top of her vanity because the gorgeous packaging must be displayed.

I LIVE for Misswhoeveryouare.com‘s Eileen Dautruche. She’s a total doll–quick with the wit, but very knowledgeable about beauty and fashion. I also love that she named her blog after a quote from one of the best movies ever, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. She started her blog at the ripe age of 19 (I wish I’d had the wherewithal to start I blog when I was that age!) but her experience and professionalism far surpasses her 22 years. Also, Eileen graduated college this week! Yay, Eileen! Without further ado (as I like to say to her, “Come ON, Eileen”), here’s Eileen’s on-vanity item, in her words:

Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin Body Creme: this is such an amazingly fresh scent, it almost makes me forget that I paid $78 on a damn jar of creme. But I thought I was a baller at the time (just got a job) and decided to splurge. All in all, the rich texture and citrus scent makes this great for layering underneath the perfect scent.

Speaking of the perfect scent, I alternate between three perfumes that have changed my life. Juicy Couture’s Couture Couture surprised me because it lasts all day, has hints of mandarin (I’m sort of obsessed) and doesn’t make me smell like some 15 year old girl obsessed with Juicy (I’m just a 22 year old obsessed with Juicy). Next is Sarah Jessica Parker’s SJP, which is the perfect scent for spring and summer as it’s fun and floral without being too in your face. Lastly, Chloe’s Eau de Fleurs Lavande is more of a sophisticated that I wear when I’m trying to act grown (HA!). I’m not really a lavender lover but this is light and airy (in other words, doesn’t grab you in a chokehold).

Thanks, Eileen! Stay tuned for more What’s On Your Vanity!
