Dop Dop Salon Encourages NYC to "Unlock Hope" for Katrina Survivors with a Mizani "Cut-a-Thon"

To benefit the continued rebuilding of communities in New Orleans, DOP DOP SALON/MIZANI will host a cut-a-thon at Dop Dop Salon in SOHO where consumers can receive MIZANI services at special prices including:

Custom Blend $40
ThermaSmooth $40
Shampoo/Condition & Blow Dry $40
Cut $40

Proceeds will go towards the building of homes for displaced families in the Gulf Coast region. The initiative is part of MIZANI’s sponsorship of the Hairdressers Unlocking Hope Campaign, an innovative fundraising initiative created and led by Vidal Sassoon, hair industry icon, and Mary Rector-Gable, founder of the international beauty industry website behindthechair.com.

In 2007, Hairdressers Unlocking Hope, in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity, dedicated 10 homes for needy families on a plot of land in the St. Tammany Parish, New Orleans. This continued effort will assist in providing homes for a family in the Gulf Coast as part of a “Village Built by Hairdressers.”
