Quick Wednesday story, since I have time on my hands as Maureen is still not columning. On Monday, I sedar’d it up in Upper Saddle River at my friend S’s family friends’ house. When we were being briefed on the various desserts, the hostess informed us that one especially delectable looking bowl contained a trifle. S immediately goes, “The first layer is ladyfingers, then beef, sauteed with peas and onions!” The delivery was totally Rachel Green. I’m not gonna lie, I’m STILL laughing about it.
